What began as a white space in an underserved convergence of planning and project management has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
Background
My professional development started in adventure tourism management and evolved into my current area of expertise-sustainable development. I started as a planner for Wasco County, Oregon; then merging my educational background and regulatory skills to work as a Development Review Officer for Parks Canada in the Lake Louise, Yoho and Kootenay field unit of Banff National Park in my homeland up north.
Lasting impact
Returning to the PNW, my husband and I now work together growing our sister company, McLaughlin Design and Construction where I am Managing Partner- Planning, Procurement and Project Management. This strong foundation shaped me into a land use planner with a customer-service focus. In a locale where development is often perceived as heavily restricted; I provide a warm, positive and educational atmosphere. We build with clarity, act with integrity, and always stay curious.

We help you from conception to completion- encompassing development potential, site constraints, planning, permitting and routing, agency and vendor communications, custom residential home design, color consulting, procurement and install and the entire building phase.
